We speak in different languages but hum the same tune

The limits of my language are the limits of my world.” Ludwig Wittgenstein

There’s constant churning of ideas at Cult Altered. Somewhere we realized that Cult Altered needs to change a little bit.

Is communicating in English elitist? Does this not cause isolation? Is it another paradox of the connected world? Let’s change that.

This is not about any notions of Nationalism or identity, it’s about creating a space where we give equal opportunity and space for not only different ideas but different cultures. It’s about “sharing” beautiful expressions and a common heritage while cherishing our individual languages or customs.

With this idea in mind, we are launching Hindi and Urdu services from today and will soon be including features in other languages.

You could record a song in your language and send it with a small translation or you could recite a profound poem and tell us what it means or just write in a few lines in the language that captures your feelings most eloquently .

Share your culture and enrich us all.

With This Cult Altered is proud to present Shivam‘s beautiful compositions in Hindi and Urdu.
